Sweetgum Press publishes work by Missouri writers. The editors are particularly interested in material about the Crowley's Ridge/Bootheel region or by writers from that area. They welcome submissions from unpublished writers or those who have yet to publish a book-length manuscript. Shorter novels and collections are especially welcome. Standard contract includes up to 20% royalties. Publication is usually within a year after acceptance of manuscript. (Also see Guidelines.)
